a senior IDEAS major studying music composition and computer science, is in his fourth year singing with the Melismatics and his third year as the director of the group. Casey spends way too much of his time in the practice rooms; writing music, arranging for Mels, developing music software, or "jamming" with friends.Casey has grapheme-color synaesthesia, an abnormal perception in which letters, numbers, and written pitches appear in color. Famous musicians with synaesthesia include composers Franz Liszt, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Olivier Messiaen and Jean Sibelius, as well as artists Duke Ellington and John Mayer.

a Junior music major with concentrations in vocal performance and composition, is singing with the Melismatics for a third year and is the current Business Manager of the group. In addition to singing, Andrey plays a variety of musical instruments and is in a pop-rock band. He also speaks Russian fluently.Andrey and his father recorded a CD of children's songs in 2003. The CD, titled "In The Zoo," features Andrey on the cover, being licked by a jaguar.

a sophmore marketing and finance major, is enjoying her second year in the Melismatics. Colleen has five younger siblings and is a member of the Alpha Phi sorority.Colleen likes to go quarry jumping with her family.

Anne is an economics master's student and is starting her third year with the Melismatics. She was a biology and economics double major as an undergrad at Lehigh, and she has no idea what she wants to do with her life.Anne's mom's maiden name is Fruit.

is singing with the Melismatics for a third year. She is a junior political science major. In addition to singing with the Melismatics, Brigette enjoys singing the National Anthem at sporting events. Brigette is also a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, ASA and Leadership Lehigh.Brigette went to high school with Lea Michele, who originated the role of Wendla in "Spring Awakening."

a senior in her third year with the Melismatics, is a chemistry major and an Eckardt Scholar. Lily's interests include music and anime.In first grade, Lily aspired to be a housepainter/Broadway star, but gave up on the housepainting in second grade when told she couldn't pick the colors (Broadway star is still up there).

a sophomore, has been with Melismatics since freshman year. She is double majoring in Accounting and Finance, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Along with singing, Lucy is a member of Lehigh Asian Cultures Society and plays the Chinese Yo-Yo.Lucy was born in China and came to the US when she was 7 years old.

a junior, is singing with the Melismatics for a second year. Jaclyn is a double major in Global Studies and an Interdisciplinary Film and Communications major. She is also a member of Alpha Phi sorority, and makes your lattes at Lucy's Cafe in Linderman Library.Jaclyn is a legal midget.

Emma Shannon is a freshman, and a new member of the Melismatics. She is from a small town outside of Boston, and was the president of her high school a cappella group, the Junction Street Harmonics. In addition to singing, Emma loves musical theatre, and watching MSNBC.Emma has had the same 5 best friends since she moved to Sherborn in 2nd grade.

an undeclared freshman in the college of arts and sciences, considering physics and education. Jake did drumline for 5 years, plays percussion and jazz set, and loves to whistle. He is very involved in his passions of faith, and can make a mean lemon meringue pie.Jake once had a search and rescue crew sent after him on the shores of lake erie. There were helicopters and everything. It was legit.

Although widely regarded as the definition of macho man, Mark is not as intimidating as he appears. When he is not bench pressing 315, you can find him standing in a corner talking to himself. Mark is a freshman from Connecticut, which is truly as bland a state as people say.Mark has traveled to more foreign countries than he has to U.S. states.
